Is there a way to monitor temperature on a Medactiv iCool Travel Bag?

Please note that Medactiv supplies the iCool range of medicine cooler bags to the major pharmaceutical and drug companies around the world and also to thousands of Australians traveling each year. In the last 12 years they have not had one return on their travel cooler bags. Medactiv is a Global company based out of Paris, and has multiple partnerships with the leading pharmaceutical companies who have instructed on how to test their cooler medicine bags.

Protocol for pre-conditioning of components:

• Gel packs at -18C for a minimum of 14 hours before start of testing
• Only the Gel Packs go into the freezer, not the entire bag

When Medactiv tests the iCool travel cooler bags, they put temperature sensors inside syringes filled with liquid so that we can measure the temperature of the liquid rather than the ambient temperature. These temperature sensors (MadgeTech) are linked directly to a computer which records the temperature every minute for the duration of the test. At an ambient temperature of 24°C the iCool Weekender, iCool Prestige & iCool MediCube keeps the temperature between 2 - 8°C for 12 hours, 24 hours and 36 hours.

If you use the iCool Prestige at an ambient temperature of 24°C or less, it will keep the medication between 2 and 8°C for 24 hours. All these test are done at an ambient temperature of 24°C, same as home, office or traveling on a plane.
