LifeinaBox is a portable medication cooler and portable travel medication fridge that allows you to travel while keeping your medications safe and at the correct temperature.
Millions of people worldwide are prisoners of their medication. With LifeinaBox, the world's smallest intelligent fridge, travel anywhere, any time, with your medication at the right temperature.
At home: Connect to the mains and in 20 minutes it will be at a temperature between 2 and 8 ° C.
In the hotel or office: Connect to the mains and in 20 minutes it will be at a temperature between 2 and 8 ° C. If you are using LifeInaBox to travel, please also use the Lifeina Travel transport bag for LifeInaBox, to keep it safe and transport it more easily.
In the car: LifeInaBox is delivered with a cigarette lighter cable. Be careful not to block the air vents. Use the Lifeina Travel to hang your LifeInaBox on the back of a seat.
LifeInaBox is a miniature fridge that is designed to be plugged in permanently for storing your medication at the right temperature. It has a built-in 6-hour emergency battery in case of power failures. We did not design LifeInaBox for actual transport of medication. It is more for use at home, in the office, or your hotel room. Although it is possible to move it, generally it is much easier to use one of our isothermal bags to travel, and to then plug in the LifeInaBox fridge when you have arrived at your destination. Airplane power plugs do not give enough power to recharge your LifeInaBox.
If you are however going to travel with LifeInaBox, then you should absolutely use the Lifeina Travel transport bag and hang it on your shoulder or from the back of a car seat, to make sure that the bottom fan is not blocked.
The LifeInaBox is NOT recommended for transporting your medication while on a plane. It was designed more for hotels, cars, office and home use as you are not able to charge the LifeInaBox while on a plane.
It is more convenient to use one of the Lifeina Bags or MedActiv iCool Bags for your medication while on the plane and then use your LifeInaBox when you reach your destination.

LifeinaBox is the world’s smallest medicine fridge, designed for the safe transport of fragile medications such as insulin or growth hormones. About 5% of the worldwide population are “prisoners” of their medication, because their medication must be maintained at a temperature between 2 and 8°C at all times. To these people, LifeinaBox gives the freedom to travel anywhere, anytime, with the peace of mind of knowing that their life-saving medication is kept at exactly the right temperature.
Connected to a Smartphone application, available in iOS and Android, LifeinaBox is an essential tool for the better management of medication schedules, as well as the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes. The Lifeina app follows the temperature of your medications in real time so that you can better manage your meds.
You can download the Lifeina App for free for iPhone and iPad from the Apple App store or for Andriod on Google Play.
Designed for the safe storage of fragile medication at an optimum temperature (2 - 8°C). Keeps your medication cool and at a constant temperature at work, at home or in your car.
Refrigerates up to 8 standard injectable medicine pens or vials*. Includes both a universal 110-240V power cord and a 12V DC power adapter for your car.
The Lifeina app will monitor the temperature of your medication in real time and will send you automatic reminders when it is time for you to take your medication.
An alarm will start to beep when the battery is down to a 20% charge. To turn off this alarm, simply click the O/I button on the right of the device.
A 6-hour "emergency" battery is included inside LifeinaBox, and separate plug-in battery packs are available (see LifeinaPower). An alarm is included in the LifeinaBox, so that when power reaches 20%, the alarm will warn you that it is time to recharge your battery.
The LifeInaBox is NOT recommended for transporting your medication on a plane as it wasn’t really designed for that. It was designed more for hotels, cars, office, and home use. Although in theory you can use the LifeInaBox on the plane, we don’t really like the idea of people walking around with a fridge under their arm.
Note that you cannot charge the LifeInaBox on the plane. It is much easier to use one of the specially made Lifeina Bags or MedActiv iCool Bags, which you can slip into your hand luggage, then use your LifeInaBox when you reach your destination.
You should anyway keep your medicine with you at all times, whatever the means of transport;
NEVER STORE YOUR MEDICINES IN LUGGAGE THAT WILL BE CHECKED INTO THE AIRPLANE CARGO STORAGE!
If your baggage is lost, or your flight is delayed, it might ruin your holiday.
Even if it is possible to use LifeinaBox on an airplane, we generally think that it is easier for plane travel to use one of our isothermal bags (LifeinaBag12 or LifeinaBag 24, that will also keep your medication between 2 and 8°C). The bags are just easier to stick in your handbag than a portable fridge. We tend to use LifeinaBox more in a car, hotel, home than on a plane.
But if you want to take your LifeinaBox on a trip with you on the plane, there is really no problem at all to do this. However, you will need the LifeinaTravel bag to transport your fridge, and you might want to get an extra battery (LifeinaPower) as well.

When you are moving the LifeInaBox you will often have variations in temperature as it is constantly adapting to changing humidity and ambient temperature. LifeInaBox always needs enough breathing space under the device for the air to circulate. Users who take their LifeInaBox in a car often place it on an uneven surface or on a carpet, thus inhibiting the flow of air under the device. If they place it on a carpet, dust from the carpet will be sucked in by the fan and will eventually block the fan, causing the device to overheat.
