What to know before flying with Meds
Medication knowledge - Flying with you
MEDICATION is always allowed in your carry-on bags in vials, pen form, or otherwise.
Do NOT put your medication in checked baggage—always carry it with you, as severe changes in pressure and/or temperature can tamper with medication.
A hand inspection by a AIRPORT SURCUITY agent can be requested if you are not comfortable putting your insulin through the x-ray machine.
Travel cooler bags with freezer packs and other accessories to keep your medication between 2-8 degree Celsius are permitted.
After flying with your medicine cooler bag, always inspect your medication before injecting. Discard it or call your doctor if it looks damaged.
The Medactiv iCool MediCube and the Lifeina 24 will keep your medication at a temperature between 2-8 degree Celsius.
Your medication is well-protected in a MedActiv travel cooler bag with its gel packs frozen.
Always recommend to take a copy of your prescription.
... and always keep your medications with you.
