Travelling with an unopened Ozempic pen

If you are travelling with unopened Ozempic pens, the Australian storage instructions specify refrigeration between 2°C and 8°C.

This can be particularly important if you are taking several pens on a longer holiday.

For example, someone travelling overseas for several months may have:

• One Ozempic pen currently in use; and
• One or more unopened replacement pens.

The pen in use has the permitted six-week storage option below 30°C, while the unopened replacement pens should remain refrigerated at 2°C–8°C.
